As the interest in service catalog grows higher, I have encountered more people further along the adoption and maturity curve. People with defined projects, deliverables and time frame. Many of you have approached me or other newScale people for feedback, development help and gap analysis on your service definitions.
Today we are introducing a new course aimed to help the initial service definitions started; it is called "Hands-On Service Catalog Design Workshop."
Our standard 2-day course teaches Service Catalog foundation concepts, and
exercises in how to create a Service Catalog. This new workshop teaches the same
2-day content but adds hands-on use of newScale tools and best practice Service
Catalog content -- to accelerate the development of your own service definitions
and publish your own prototype.
In this course, you will work both on thoretical cases and your own cases. You will walk out of the workshop with a couple of services defined and you will have 30 days of online access to continue working on your catalog prototype. Half the course is concepts, half working on your own services using tools, content, blueprints, and hosted offerings from newScale.
I'm sure there are many questions, so below is the press release, here are the FAQ's, and here is registration. This is a new course, and we are only doing two this year, Las Vegas and Miami. I hope to see you there.
